Due to the work of Xavier Oswald the application of CipUX as a project on Alioth was suppotet by Raphael Hertzog and kindly accepted by the Alioth Team in the evening of 2006-05-16.

The development of CipUX had become a second platform on Alioth (http://alioth.debian.org/projects/cipux/), the Debian forge for software. This will be a step forward in the afford of bringing a new way of administration to users. CipUX is used some time in Germany and by the French team of Skolelinux. The focus for now is to bring CipUX to the English school server community. So Alioth is the right starting point for a better debianization as needed by the primary target group: teachers and administrators.
