CipUX 3.2.10 release is published at “la mine” in Forbach, France. The main new feature is the XML-RPC server which provide access to the CipUX API.

The XML-RPC Server is now a Debian Package with a small test Client. It provides all CipUX command plus the additional local over socket or remote over SSL:

* login
* ping

The main goal for the XML-RPC server is the new Moodle plugin (CAT-moodle) from the French team, which will provide an other administration interface, written in PHP.

There are also new translations in French for CAT-webmin

And the CipUX Task API got new commands:
* cipux_task_tell_me_user_firstname(UID)
gives back the fist name of a given UID for a user
* cipux_task_tell_me_user_lastname(UID)
gives back the family name of a given UID for a user
* cipux_task_tell_me_user_canonical_name(UID)
gives back the hole given UID for a user
* cipux_task_tell_me_user_role
gives back the role of a given user
* cipux_task_change_own_password
which can be used with XML RPC server
* cipux_task_change_user_role
for promoting users
