Next day I was cutting away the broken Depron parts and replaced them with new depron. So this bird flies again.

Then I crashed the Edge2 – also my mistake: I was flying inverted and very low. A little pulling instead of pushing and the nose was digging into the ground. Only the nose is broken – the motor ripped out. I’ll try to replace this motor and the ESC with lighter ones. Hopefully the new motor will have enough power.

EasyStar finally got the Brushless upgrade. Motor: TowerPro 2408-21T. Battery: 2200mAh 3S Lipo. First I tried a 10×4,7″ prop but ESC & motor got too hot. Now I use a 7×6″ APC-style prop. Everything stays cool, 14A peak, that’s approx. 140W. It climbs nicely but not too extreme.

Blade400 has small unwanted servo movements at the swashplate – not nice but I don’t know what to do against that. First time that I did a range-check with the DX 6i. result was so-so. With reduced transmission power I lost control after 20meters.

I crashed 2 planes in 2 days 🙁 First the DeltaOne: my mistake: turned off the motor when it was to far away (normally it glides well) – it was windy, I lost control and orientation.
