“fun” with aptitude.
Sunday, October 9th, 2005During the last 2 days we installed a lot of stuff on our new cd-build-server. Christian says he used aptitude , I always used apt-get. Once I tried aptitude in an interactive mode and it wanted to uninstall most of our software so I cancelled it. Today David stepped into the “aptitude-trap” – He used aptitude to install Apache, and aptitude uninstalled all our stuff đ
Looks like we have to learn a bit more about Debian Package Managment…
