upright,nose-in,CW:  pull right    pull back 
upright,nose-in,CCW: push left     pull back 
upright,tail-in,CW:  push left     push forward
upright,tail-in,CCW: pull right    push forward

inverted,nose-in,CW: pull right    push forward
inverted,nose-in,CCW:push left     push forward
inverted,tail-in,CW: push left     pull back 
inverted,tail-in,CCW:pull right    pull back

For Roll it does not matter if you are inverted or not.
For Nick it does not matter if you funnel clockwise or counter-clockwise.
