Sunny, clear sky, almost no wind – perfect flying conditions. I flew from 15:00 -17:30 almost all my Lipos (5 big and 3 small ones). The “old” 2200mAh Zippy Flightmax performed better than I thought.
I’m getting better and better at inverted hovering – with both helis (CX450, TR250). Today I even climbed inverted.
I flipped the helis in all 4 directions.
Another nice thing that I didn’t do before: a roll while flying 30° downwards.
It was great fun! No fear, no scary situations. It looks and sounds so beautiful when the heli is in a knife-edge position during flips or rolls.

Tails were good except once where the small one yawed 90° – that’s no real problem.

It’s the first time that I’m testing the Align carbon blades for the 250 outdoors. They are 8,5g compared to Blattschmied’s 7,5g. Align blades are 205mm long, Blattschmied’s are 195mm. The Align Blades perform similar, but have less power in fast forward flight or when climbing into a loop.

Wegen Wind und Regen heute nur indoor mit Blade 400 und Rex250. Auf dem Rex250 hab ich mal andere Blätter probiert: Blattschmieds ‘runter, Align Carbon ‘drauf. Fliegt gut. Kann bisher keinen wesentlichen Unterschied feststellen. Hab’ heute meinen ganzen Mut zusammen genommen und flog in der Halle 2 Flips. Ein seeeehhhr gutes Gefühl ! :-))) breites Grinsen und Freudensprünge. Schon ein bisschen verrückt, daß ich es mit den neuen Blättern nicht vorher mal draußen (mehr Platz, weicher Boden) probiert habe.

Die keychain-cam war auch dabei: Auf dem Rex250-Heck: Schwerpunkt – kein Problem, aber starke Vibrationen. Unter dem Blade400: kaum Vibrationen – viel weniger als erwartet, denn beim hoch laufen schüttelt der sich momentan auch etwas.
